If your computer has a USB port there is a real easy solution. lexar Media makes a Digital Film Reader that is sold at Wal-mart and K-Mart for about $45. It is really a PCMCIA slot with an insert card for the camera flash memory cards. If you don't use the adapter card you have a cheap and fast card reader.

The only think to look out for with the low cost USB readers is that most if not all won't read the Sram cards that were used with the early AFS systems.
