Yeah everything is saved on the monitor except GPS data. Im guessing when your head went down it dinged or showed head highlited.. on the monitor when you went to select farms you had a whole list of farmsIJ fieldsIJ

I save to backup every time I shut the monitor down. It's kind of hard to diagnose from here. I do know Case Farmer is talking about the new style touch screen monitor which is not the same as ours. Does the card fire up and say battery goodIJ Are you set to log data to cardIJ Change your lower left display to weight. Does it add up as you goIJ Is your stop height set properlyIJ Is your area count switch (lower right) turned onIJ Have your box or sensor calibrations changed without being told to do soIJ What about the voltage numberIJ I'm assuming we now have the GPS all straightened out with the DG showingIJ Sorry, but you'll not be able to do maps without the GPS data which will only be on the card. Your fields, loads and weights should still be in the monitor unless something has gone really amiss!

Yep i pretty much agree with him also if something they fixed in the later software version...4.5 and on up was alot of the questions it asked you. Do you want to save this dataIJ..... and Data is newer on monitor than card do you wish to use monitor data lol there were some other one's that at the end of the day you weren't really wanting to mess with or in the early morning you just wanted to START!!! Also the shutdown process has gotten alot quicker So There's just a few things that have changed since the early versions hope you get things figured out and let us know what you find out.

Things got stranger yesterday. Started up the field - no DG reading. Stopped and disconnected the beacon and sprayed on some contact cleaner. Did not help. I wanted to START! after a while I get "-g" and then "Dg" and finally "DG", which stayed with me for the rest of the day. Did the save to backup routine on shutdown. Down loading the card this morning brought up this message on my computer;"Access violation at address 00402AAD in module YMAP.EXE read of address FFFFFFFF" Starting to think the monitor is as unreliable as the combine. Well,it can be relied upon to go bad each day for about the same time as it works. Should be called a SeaKing - more hours fixing than flying! Anyway - I do not know if I have data for theharvest this week or not. Any suggestionsIJ
