In East Central Iowa beans from 20-40_bpa,afew pockets of 50,corn just the opposite from 130-245_bpa.Unreal that the corn can be so good and the beans bad.Normal beans 45-70,corn 145-185.

This must be why soys jumped a quarter today. Brazil will probably just adjust acres and ruin it for those with descent yields however. Thats life on the farm though I guess. Pinch pennies a little harder.

Here in central Texas I am hearing reports of corn making 120-150 bushels. Hope to get into some end of this week. For us thats considered a bumper crop.

In North East Texas yields are above average. 140+ bu range. Best dryland I have heard was 185 bu.

Yields much above normal in the central Texas area, 120-150 bu._ac, we have had one of the wettest growing seasons in years.

Interesting, those yeilds are not far off what we get in Southern Ontario--hundreds of miles further north. My farm average is about 120 bu_acre, with 175 bushel corn not unusual--but with this wet cold summer, we won't be combining til late Nov or December, and moistures will still be in the 30 percent range--I'd love to combine corn with the A_C on!!!
