Will 2 4 d kill clover? How heavily should I be spraying it?

Why would you want to kill clover? I've seeded clover into my pastures and hayfields. It's a legume and supplies nitrogen to the soil.

I sprayed my buttercups with it....pasture pro....and the clover is still ok. Maybe I didn't spray enough as I thought it would kill it but glad it didn't. The buttercups suffered though......but not enough

I don’t usually kill clovers so I’m not very sure about that. But to me, clovers help maintaining the quality of soil. They are also very nutritious for your animals.

24D will definitely kill clover. mix 1% solution, spray almost to the point of drip. Not on very hot dry day as it will only desiccate the leaves but not kill roots. It will work on most broadleaf plants
