I too own many Farmall H tractors. I've torn three down and rebuilt them. I don't own any new tractors. I do hear a lot of people complain about newer tractors and technology!

I say if you do your homework on the item and you know it's in good shape, go for it! I've purchased equipment from a local farm and I've had zero problems! I paid less than half of a new piece too.

Ram all the way. I think they have more room and are more comfortable to travel in. I've had some issues with an old Ford I had too. I'm a Dodge fan now.
