We had problems with our 1010 feeding in durum wheat it would just sit in front of the auger tried everything but ended up trading for a honey draper head what a differance no more lumps. Everyone going to the drapers around here

Have you thought of putting a piece of baler belting about 12" long on the bat. This is a ideal I thought of what do you guys thinkIJ

Rusty6, I think if you try this (grinding the auger edge flat like a new one). You will be AMAZED at the difference. It doesn't sound like much, but I will never let another auger get rounded off again after I saw how much difference it makes. Billy

hi rusty6.get to the platform with a sander and get rid of 99% of the rust.have this problem most years when first crop is short or uneaven. cheers jamesmcjim
