It should easily. I run a 1666 with a 8R22" head and can do 175-200BPA corn with it at up to 5 MPH in the right conditions. E-mail me if you want to know what kind of setup I have in mine.
We have run a 2166 with an 8 row head for 3 years now. The first year was ok. No speed records but did ok. The second year the combine had some power problems so its hard to tell, But the third year we had the injection pump rebuilt and turned up 15%, Its a hog now, It can almost keep up with the 2388 now, Works Fine
Traded my 1460 this year for a 2166, used same 8 row cornhead, no problems on flat ground,had a Mauer spIJ topper works ok. liked larger grain capacity.
