My machine is a plain m built in 1976 I think that the m2 came out in 1977 I now use a 13 foot rigid head. I checked with the two dealers listed and both had a 315 head but both were sold before I got a chance to go check them out.

You would either have to change the electonics on the head or on the combine to make your header contol work the way it was intended.My 315 had 3 position contol, my series 2 head was just single position.Also the series 3 had electic reel speed control.
