Nothing special, it works. This is our fifth year with MacDon. I would like to make one improvement, that has also been suggested by the factory. This big pan underneath the center draper is bolted to the bottom of the cutter bar. I would like to raise it up and put it inside the cutter bar, like they do it on the 973. It will help prevent bulldozing.

We will be running a 25' 972 with a 871 adaptor and a 30' 974 with a 873 adaptor if it ever quits raining and the dealer gets the 974 here, bought it 5 weeks ago and they said 2 weeks we will have it there. Still no head til tomorrow night at the earilest.
