turn on the key switch plus sep.and fedderhouse switches. set the mon. to straw walkers then have someone tap on the sensor with a screwdriver. if the needle moves the sensor is ok. check the shoe sensors the same way.if the needle does not move check for broken wires or bad connections.if you have a new sensor plug it in where a sensor is not working. tap on the new sensor to see if the needle moves.this is an easy check.if nothing still does not work the connecting box where the harness for the straw walkers and cleaning go into may be bad. jd dealer has a tester to check this out or you can try a new one.
