Combines 8 1 seized update

Ive never worried about the entry exit ladder breaking..... Never even heard of that.. last time i checked about all combines had a rock trap...something thats not popular where i am cause you don't see many rocks in fields.. And with two combines we might have a few hrs of downtime a year......on just one combine thats been going on for 8 years now... Most years no downtime..sometimes one or two problems Thats not too bad... We have 3 case dealers in the area...one thats very loyal and i don't know anyone who sells gleaner not in southern ill but i do hope harvest goes well and you have continued luck with your combine Hey if it works for you...Use it

Since Heberer Equipment went under EJ Keher Equipment has taken over most of the Gleaner sales. His place is small though. He can't come close to the number of Gleaners that Heberer used to sell. This is one the Western side of S Il

Boys, boys. The 2388 and R62_72 combines are both great machines and both have earned their place in the annals of the combine hall of fame. The 2388 is a good reliable machine. The Gleaner is built heavier, is just as reliable, has a larger tank, more chrome components in high wear areas, far better in hillsides, has a more advanced cleaning system, better weight balance and distribution, a second-to-none cab for visibility, and unbeatable accessiblity for service. Combine sales are a game of dealer coverage, NOT MACHINE SUPERIORITY! Just look at all the STS's out there; I rest my case. The Gleaner and 2388 are both far better machines, but unfortunately both lack the extensive dealer coverage that JD has. If all dealer support were equal and people actually bought combines solely on the merit of the product, you'd pretty much see those market share numbers flipped totally upside down. We can talk sales all day long. Personally it doesn't mean one thing about the merits of the combine itself.
