Everyone on this post are real farmers except Big truck he tried quoting numbers from some Cat combine and the numbers were tonnes per hectare and tonnes per hour. All I told him was real farmers use bushels and ares when talking figures. Just for the record in Canada we have had the metric system for over 30 years and every elevator I have ever called for prices the price is given in dollars per bushel, also all inputs prices are given in dollars per acre. That is why I made my point about "Real Farmers" futhermore like I said the start of this thread was, which combine would be better to replace two 1688's a CR 970 or an 8010. He did not ask about a Cat combine so Big truck should not even have offered an opnion. Yes the rest of us are real farmers as for big truck I would be surprised if he even owns a Cat combine or any farm ground.
