What it does, is show how good of a machine the 2388's really are! Spoiled, that's what it's called! Noticed neighbors new 9660 with the shields up by the side of the road for 2 days. Guess the green ones break too!;) Chads

First of all I want to thank you for not going off on my response to your post. Yes I have to say I would care. My only question to you is how good is your dealer with communicating to CNHIJ Are you sure that they are actually talking to them and not just saying that they areIJ The reason I say this is I have talked to my service manager abiout problems that people are expressing on this site and he looked at me dumb-founded (they have sold two units and have the first coustomer wanting to trade his in on a new one with limited troubles on the first one. This dealer was the first dealer to sell an 8010 last year in MN). Heck he didn't know that a couple of them burned to the ground. Maybe on the other hand I am in denial that a company that I swore up and down on is really being a pain in the a--. I hope they straighten up soon if thats the case. Good luck and happy holidays!

8010 is going to be a good machine. I've said it over and over. I am under the impression that another year warranty and all updates are available to all those who had problems like we had throughout the year. I think the feeder house feeding issue is really the only major major problem we had. We put 275 rotor hours on and used another 2388 for around sixty or so hours to get through the harvest. I'm confident in CASE, they'll get all the small stuff fixed, the feeding issue with the two seperate chains and not getting the crop into the rotor housing is a much bigger problem than all the small ones added up. A person who has an 8010 has been on a roller coaster since they first ordered it till after they have turned it into the dealer for updates. Some days very good, some days very bad. We were harvesting sunflowers with a twelve row crop head at 8.5 plus miles per hour. We harvested corn at 4,000 bu an hour. The up side to this combine is tremendous. HP is not a problem.

Well farmboy I guess you let the information on the extened warranty out. I knew about it yesterday, got call from Case, had they called earlyer this could have been handled differently but district service man chose not to talk with us have been trying to speek with him since the start in August and you said it exactly rolercoster ride very high then very low and Chad said it also, the 2388s are very good machine and hard to fill there shoes and Case should be very upset with there venders for faulty parts and I always have thought Case has the best machine out there or I would not have them. Wont complain any more have made my point!
