In a good year wheat runs from35-40 bu-ac.Barley anywhere from 60to90 bu-ac.We get very heavy straw with that kind of yield.We farm 50 miles north of Saskatoon,our crop this year was a disaster some wheat went 6 bu-ac the best was 20 in the barley.I hope Santa reads this, I want 3ft of snow NOW and 6inches of rain before seeding I'd rather be stuck in mud than in the middle of a dust storm.

And I thought we had terrible crops down here. Anyone run the smaller combines up your way.

There are a few guys that run smaller machines up here but from talking to them they aren't buying now.Most of them live close to the s.sask river and farm very sandy land.The only reason they combine at all is to get enough barley for the cattle.

I am located in Harvey, ND. It is a 1982 with 2950 hours in nice condition and always been shedded. The straight head is a 1859 with the heavy duty wobble box.
