Combines 8780 purchase

combine capacity isn't the biggest item. I want the combine to be easy to set up, easy to work on and easy to servive. I'm running 6 row corn and 24ft beans so I suspect the 9650 is bigger than I need. I demmod a R52 before I bought the 9500 but I wasn't immpressed,probbably more the dealers fault. The dealership doesn't exist anymore. Not impressed with NH either.

I thought that farmers believed in the KISS method. That is what you get with a 8780XP.

If a good, simple "6 row" machine is all you're looking for, you can't go wrong with the Massey; - the Deere would probably be a little bored! I still think the Massey 8780XP is a great design, and if the rumours are true, you'll be seeing a larger version of the 8780XP real soon!

The STS concept was NEVER looked upon by Massey. The prototype Massey TX903 was more like the 9720 White, but it never went into production!
