I agree as well that we are way more efficent now days More acres per day and less down time. Also the enviromentalist wacko's have all droven the industry to different standards and emissions that sure will help out the enviroment lol... Sorry but if they really want to go start war on bad engines and exhaust fumes go to china or japan and tell them what you think and see how that works out for you.

Well that is to bad fuel went up but I guess I wont worry about it I got 2 transports in last winter so were good for this year. Oh and you did not upset me. And just so you know I was around a 410 massey in my younger days. And I surly wont go back to that thing! Just curious what are you doing to save fuelIJ Biodeisel, e85, electric car, wind power, wood stove, corn burner or somthing differentIJ

Wood is my main heat with gas backup. One windmill up and running and material on the way for a second. 400 watts of solar panels. Have a VW diesel. I used to work in a power plant years ago where just one machine used 90 gallons a minute. It became obviously even then that this could not go on forever. There are a number of us into conservation and alternate energy. Its actually fun and rewarding. Have a great day

Ha! That reminds me of just what I once saw back in 1981 in Oklahoma-a Gleaner N8! It was likewise a hoax, with the existing N6 decal having been slightly altered. Oh well. I know this will not be the last time someone plays a good joke with a machine.

I am all for conservation and alternative fuel sources. We all have to remember that its a new venture and with that we have alot of unknowns. If we jump too fast and abandon old technologies, it could cost more financially and enviromentally in the future. Its why it all takes time, car companies dont just jump on every whim because they know the cost in the long run with things like recalls, yadda yadda. For example, a car running on batteries alone that needs a charging station still needs a energy source to fuel the charging stations and the batteries are a serious disposal problem and you also drag around a bunch of dead weight all the time. Not to mention the dangers of electrocution from being involved in an accident inside of one. I like wind, solar, biodiesel, ethanol, all of it. lets just try to keep in mind that its going to take time to become energy effiecent and it will be cheaper in the long run if we try to get it right the first time. Big oil will make big money on our mistakes going forward if we make arent careful. They are birds of prey watching every move.

Had a look at the new 9010 at AGRITECHNICA in Hannover. So far at least 10 9010 are sold here in Denmark for the 2008 season

All Axial flow combines are build in US the only problem it takes 5 months to ship them to the Europe + production time. So you must order one in July to get for next season
