Combines 9500

Sounds like your 9500 isn't as reliable as 20 series. the 6620 I have now is a reliable machine and i would hate to go to a newer machine and find out that it is not as reliable as the one I have. Also, do you think that the 9500 is easier to work on. Their is some nasty spots to get into on the 6620.

Porky, when it comes to just grinding it through, the 8820 can do more because it is wider. We harvest wheat, barley, canola and peas. When the threshing is easy and not a lot of trash, the 8820 walks away. When there is a lot of trash to separate from seed, the 9500 does a good job in the hopper. I find that, overall, in what we harvest, the 9500 is smaller in capacity. Rosco

It is without doubt, easier to work on, and more operator friendly. less of those "nasty spots" you mentioned. Rockpicker said he got a better sample with 20 series. I agree. I could set my 7720 in the yard and go combine and the sample would be good, regardless of conditions.My 9500 is much more fickle, and I am never as satisfied with the sample as my 7720.
