Etienne, how a combine wears depends a lot on the kind of grain it has harvested. Wheat wears the least. Corn wears a lot more, because it yields so much more. Soybeans wear the most, because they have to be cut so close to the ground. That brings a lot of dirt (sand) into the combine. Combines that have harvested a lot of soybeans and corn can have holes in the graintank and augers wore out as early as 1000 separator hours. Ralf
