Those of you who have boys, how old was your son when you first let him drive a tractor by himself? Even if he was just pulling a trailer to throw hay?

My wife and I felt like 11 was a good age for my son and daughter to start learning how to drive a tractor. Actually, my daughter might've been a little younger than that, but she's always been more focused and mature than my son. I was always with them though. That might seem too young to others, but we based it off of our area where it isn't uncommon to have your kid manning the tractor by age 7. I'm curious as to what others will say.

Too late. Expect the knocks on the door. LOL It wasn't until I was 13, and I was helping a neighbor lady out. It was rough going at first, but by the end of the day I was doing alright.
