What kind of concaves and threshing elements or settings do you use to alleviate the problemIJ TIA

The only crop I have trouble with is hard Red Spring Wheat. I use the "Difficult Wheat Auto- Settings" to start and end the day with bottom sieve down some, higher wind and covers on the center concave. The dockage, all unthreshed heads usually runs 1 1_4 to 1 1_2 percent.

Where do you run your filler platesIJ

I cover the center concave where the returns dump in.

loewen has been manufacturing the low wire concaves for rotor combines forever, and they do make a difference and they would have them for STS models also, I'm sure.
