A friend is retiring and sold a nice one owner 6620 for $10,500 Saturday. 15 foot head brought $4700 and cornhead only $2500 or so. My F2 will stay with it and would not bring near that amount. Good point on engineers. Been patting them on the back while cussing them all my life. If they were with you in the mud, the blood and the beer to repair what they designed they would have a new look on life I am sure.

Saturday I seen a 6620 and 7720 sell, they were a little rough but the 6620 was bought for 3500 and the 7720 for around 4500.

Could it be that many of these engineers never set foot on a farm or inthe cab or a piece of farm machinery until they got a job working for AGCOIJ In the early 90s I studied agriculture at a large land grant university that had a well respected Agricultural engineering progam. Out of all of the students in the department only about five or six had ever actually lived or worked on a farm. If these guys went on to work for farm equipment manufacturers it is no wonder we are getting these F---ed up looking new tractors (they don't know what a tractor is supposed to look like) and displays and controls that more closely resemble the Nintendo games that these guys played with when they were kids a few years ago than controls on a piece of farm equipment. Oh and btw I am only 33 years old... and I think my old 30, 40, and 50 series Deere tractors look better than the new ones that any manufacurer is currently building. The new 20 series Deere tractors are just plain UGlY!

Hey Watch it! I think my 20 series is the best looking tractor JD has ever built. It is sure easier and better to see out of than our 50 series. What does looks have to do with how well a tractor funtionsIJ looks can be very deceiving. If you are basing how well something is engineer on its looks than I glad you aren't engineering my tractor. I want one that performs Kurt

Engineers make it function; the styling people and marketing yahoos make it look ugly.
