Yea that JD resell line is a bunch of Bull****! I tried for a long time to sell a very nice 7200 tractor with 1900 hrs. Dealers wouldn't give anything to trade finally got sold private. I told dealer my 8050 and 185 have way better resell when comparing what was paid for them. They don't like hearing but that was the fact.

Massey combines are using the Cummins engines now, and have been since AGCO purchased the MF Rotary combine technology from Western Combine Corporation. As far as the Perkins engines are concerned, my understanding is that CAT owns Perkins, and some of the CAT engines under 200 hp are actually "Perkapillars" (Perkins engines painted yellow and labelled "CAT"). I could be a little wrong with this info, but I'm pretty close!

Resale doesn't mean anything unless it's not worth keeping or you farm for show and not to make a living.

I'm glad you have good agco dealers who value their customers. Mine treats me like a second class citizen and I don't know why. I have purchased 2 combines and 2 tractors from him since he went into business. I always pay for my parts when I pick them up and have never really complained to him for not doing my service work in a timely manner. If the other dealer follows through and gives me good service I will be done with agco forever.

Thats the way the CIH dealers treats me here. John Deere is better but likes people who buy a combine and two or more tractors at the same time. Also the CIH dealer makes fun of what I own and how I farm. Just kind of rubs me the wrong way. I have very good Agco and New Holland dealers here. That makes a big difference. I hope we always have all makes and dealers in the future. IlNH

I requested the R65_R75 brochure and got a copy from them about a week or so later, so I dunno why it has taken so long to get yours. As for resale, that's a bunch of crap. My family doesn't buy equipment for resale value, but they buy it w_the intent of using it for a long time. A lot of the farmers in my area are the same way also.

When will you all get itIJ Agco is 100% shareholder driven! Such things such as the appearance of a website take some ingenuity, and the chairman of the board made it very clear, about six years ago, that Agco would leave R and D up to others. Copy, copy, copy! That's been Agco's mantra. They just haven't found a website suitable to imitate. JMHO E.
