Age for gun

What age do you think is the right age for a gun for your child? What type would you start them out with? My son has been asking and that got my daughter asking. I have no issues with both but I'm not sure if they are ready.

Great question and my answer would be, when your kids are ready. Each child is different. Also whenever you have the time to teach them all about the gun, safety, etc.. I would start with a bb gun.

When the kiddo turns 18 and moves out. I'm not comfortable with guns in the house. I wouldn't want the liability of allowing my kid to own a gun, not even if he was a blessed saint. A paintball gun? Okay. Anything with bullets? No.
