I have some ideas that may help out. You could do a number of things or incorporate all of them into a nice presentation. You could cover Bio-technology, Increased Farm sizes, No till, Genetic modifications, AG Terrorism and the implications it has on farming in the future. Hopefully these ideas will help you. If you need more help or ideas just email me. Good luck Brent

You could do a project on the average age of farmers in this day in age and the implications this is going to have in the future.Another good one might be genetically modified crops.

I would love to see a study on the effects of eliminating some CRP ground and using it to produce grain for fuel production to ease our reliance on foreign oil. I think that producing more fuel and keeping that money here while creating jobs in the production and refining of fuel would be great for the economy. Unused ground just seems to produce government checks from a bigger government.

buckshot, you must be canadian, no offense. North Dakota's governor is just doing what is right for the whole United States agriculture economy. If Canada wants to sell their wheat, they should try to export else where meaning across the ocean. I don't want to start a war or anything in that matter. I am just stating that your government is paying canadian a subsidy for your crops and beef to equal what the market is over here so don't complain about just one governor complain about all the governors in the states that border the Canada.

A chemical dealer in Oregon got caught buying round up in canada and sending it down here. US customs kind of frowned upon that and needless to say he is no longer in business and his cell number does'nt apply to a phone.
