My bad. I think my counting is fine, but I still can't find the counter on the Case IH sight.

I went thru a fraction of the parts and downtime the past three years in comparison to the neighbors STS, he used his 2388 to do most of the harvest. And my Gleaner is 20 years old to a 3 yr old Deere. Blind or just can't seeIJ

I will admit the sts does need a few kinks worked out (but will still kick the s!nt out of an R72) but when gleaner started the N's (sliver seeders) they were hell on wheels!! We had a 1979 N6 and nobody knew a freaken thing about how to set it or work on it. And at least DEERE can get parts out(If they ever need to). I know at least 3 custom cutters that quit running R72s because they couldnt get parts out when the dang things broke down[which was every other round!!] they are now running THE GREAT GREEN DEERES!!

My Gleaner is only 18 years old and I did replace 1 bearing this year. The way I read most post are about improving, selling, wanted and general information not repairing. Why spend six digits trading for a new updated machine when we can update the old ones to do as good if not better than a factory non improved machine, any brand, for only a few digits. If you have the money to buy new thats great. Not all of us do and if there wasn't ever any new ones then there won't be any used ones. This is what this site is for and the Gleaner people are GREAT. That is the reason for so many post. Keep it up and THANKS to every body here. David
