We raise conveyor auger up as high as it will go. This allows auger to push ears along rather than try to cut them in half when auger is within 3_4"-1" of floor. We have a machine shop make inserts for us out of 16ga. sheet metal. You only have one bend to work with on Hugger heads and two on the oler black heads. Once the insert is in place we stitch weld insert to existing floor. We have installed many Huggers and probably twice as many black heads using this set up. Hope this helps. Hyper Harvest II
