Hello, I would just say that they both good combines when running. I would say that the gleaners have the edge in thougher conditions and serviceablity. I own a R 72 and my dad has a N7 we have about 3500 acres and run a 36 foot honey bee and 42 foot honey bee. We take off wheat oats barly flax and canola. We can move right along. Our dealer is an hour away and he treats us well we have the parts when we call him and he has even met us half way in travel time. My father in law has two 2388 and he has had nothing but trouble with them. His dealer is only 15 min away and could care less about the farmers. when 5 pm hits his doors are locked and you won't see him till 8 the next morning. I do know that father in law has traded on off on to a new machine for next yr. He has not told me if it is a gleaner or john deere.
