Best cut of steak

My family has asked for steaks on the grill for Christmas Eve dinner. Well it's hard to believe but we have no steaks in the freezer. What is the best cut to get at the butcher? It's been a bit since we bought any.

I think ribeye steaks are the tastiest cuts, especially if you're planning to grill them up. I'm shocked you aren't having ham though. Isn't that a Christmastime requirement? Blasphemy.

I'm not into steak, so I'm no help there. It's cool that you're able to grill out this time of year. A slight chill sends me running inside. No way could I man the grill.

I love the way you are thinking - steak for Christmas eve. We have ham on Christmas day and usually lasagna on Christmas eve.
As far as the cut, we like NY strip steak.
