JOE it only gets hot if we pull it hard .. but we keep a close eye and only a few of us drive it so we know how it is treated! i'll get you a pic of it someday it also has 18-4-38'2tarus raidals on it with a loader! we run feed grinder and other things with it .. it has been this way since the early 70's!

Well you guys have a little bit of a point but not much. You are saying that you have your motors cranked up but are not using if for pulling bigger implements and so on. So what is the use of having more power if you are pulling the same equipment. And there is no way a higher gear is better. Maybe to some extent. To put your tractor in a real high gear and then idling it down won't save any fuel......

I bought two 30% chips off john .ONE FOR MY 9750,ONE FOR MY CTS.It soon paid off because we had very wet harvest , they just keep the revs up and out of the bog.9750 wasnt very good in the mud ,too heavy with 936D.Would a 224 tine reel platform work allright on CTS in riceIJIJIJ

do you mean the old minni mo'sIJ a friend of ours used too farm and pull one that ran on propane ! what a horse it was the motor was awesome in it !

have you ever heard of it's there if you need it IJ besides a tractor will do better if it is not lugging it down for power !our tractors are both used for pulling equip.but we don't abuse them !the oil and fluids are changed regularly..and we use good fuel ...

One reason for more power is that u could run an implment fast. And if u did idle it down, why would it use the same amount of fuel. My neighbor has an oliver 88 that is crankin OVER 200hp. It is a pullin tractor but has origlan rear ends and i think trany. If that can with stand that...with all of our inproved enginerin skills, think what tractors that have 200 hp can do. I am be wrong on this but doen't the 8100 have the same rear ends, trany and moter pretty much. So if it is the same as a 8400 except for a chip that tells it how much hp to put. And the sts are pretty much the same aren't they. So buy a 9650 and put the chip in it to make it the same as a 9750. Same goes for 9000 tractors. look at all the 4 wd tractors with DMI and Kinze repower. My 2cents
