Well that explains it very few people can learn how to set there conventionals so Deere eliminated the problem.

We have found it very simple to set a 9600, no problems at all, i think since you cant yap about the 8010 anymore you have to yap about green.

What ever I do not care if Deere builds conventionals or not, maybe you do, but Deere them selves say they are not as good as there rotaries,aparently you have never picked high mositure corn so you do not know the difference! And I am not picking on Deere I possibly could own a Deere some day but it would not be a conventional but I guess that will not happen if they will not build them any way.

The 9600's to 9660 walkers, along with 1480's to 2388's are probably the most reliable machines built, and I doubt that the DEERE walker machine will be eliminated. Built else where maybe,eliminated doubtful! As for the mighty 8010 good luck with that!

I never said there was any thing wrong with the conventionals for other crops, in high mositure corn there not as good as the rotaries do not beleive me, beleive Deere, you guys should go on the Deere page and tell them not to discontinue it. And about the 8010 till they get all bugs out I will keep my 2388s cause like you said they probably are the best machines made to date.Enough said I think Hunter made a good purchase for himself and a Merry Christmas to all.

I have picked 230+ corn at 23% to 25% moisture, what is the problemIJ, i didnt have any other than a not enough trucks.

Deere conventionals will be built and exported from Germany for 2006. Very similar combines to the current 9560 and 9660 combines, these machines will be labelled the 9580 and 9680.
