Buffalo

What are your thoughts on raising Buffalo? I've had some people ask if we do but we don't. Anyone here raise Buffalo? How much different is it than raising cattle?

I visited a bison ranch a couple of times. They have a drive through, teaching kids about them. They also sell bison meat, it's pretty costly. I would think it is the same.

I don't know much about them, but they sure look majestic beasts. I bet you could raise them for meat and fiber. I'm not sure about raising them for milk though.

Interesting! I saw a bison farm being advertised but I haven't been. I know very little about buffalo. I bet the meat is expensive because it's not in high supply here.
