JD, if you go to buhler.com they have alot of information there. They have a two year- 2000 hr warranty. last Fridays Agri-news has an ad for Kuhns equip. I know they have sold alot of them. Plus the price compared to other brands is an eye opener. I know two farmers that have traded genesis in for the new ones. They were very happy with the tractors, being they changed names and color didn't bother them, some people it might.

Buhler_NH hasn't changed the basic tractor design from when NH was making them. He has made improvement's to the front axle ( made it a stronger design ). Their are some of my neighbour's that have new Buhler tractor's. One of the engineer's for Buhler live's in my area and he demo's the new tractor's to us to give them feedback on what to improve. I had demoed the Genesis and the 4-wheel drive the past spring and I just loved them for the being so simple to operate. If you don't what the tractor to have all the bell's and whistle's as the new tractor's from the other company's, these are the tractor's to buy. As for me I'm thinking of trading in my old tractor's for new Buhler one's and the price is a big saving over all the other one's out their. Also one more thing about these tractor's you can fix in your own shop there as for the other one's you can't because they all use computer's to control all the function's from the cab to the engine, transmission. Thanks Kurt! I ran 2 Genesis for 6 years and like you say, they are good, solid tractors. The lack of electronics on them is a "good thing"! After having electronic problems with the tractors I now run, I can appreciate the Genesis simplicity even more. What I'm looking for though really is, some info on how Buhler, the company handles itselfIJ Would be real interesting to hear how they handle warranty claimsIJ Or from one who has purchased a Buhler tractor and get their impression of the company and it's financial_lending dept and if they have an insurance deptIJ Deere sure has the upper hand on these issues from my experiences with NH, Deere and CIH. As for how the company handle's it self, here is some info on Buhler. He has two factorie's in WPG and one factory in Morden MB. He has been manufacting equipment since the 70's. He did try to buy the Versatile factory back in 1986 but the goverment told him that he was to small of a manufacture to buy it. At the time that NH had to get rid of it, he had more people working for him than NH had working at the Versatile plant. His company is small compared to JD or Case_NH but he want's to help the farmer save as much money as we can for the same product. Also he built the JD 9501 pull type combine for JD. He does stand behind all the warranty's claim's. From my experience the problem is fixed until your satisfyed. I have one of his auger's and had a problem with the gear box ( which he didn't make ) and he replaced free one year after I bought it. I also would have to say that it also depend's on your dealer on how he fix's thing's for warranty work. As for his lending dept. I don't know anything about it, I have alway's gone through my dealer that carrie's his product's. Kurt

Is that a twin-track style big track machine I saw spy pics of two or three years ago or is it something dramatically differentIJ As for the Buhler company, they seem to be doing very well for themselves. The real test will come in a few years when he has to start tackling parts and support issues (I would imagine everybody is getting parts through NH dealers) and when he has to upgrade powertrains to get around higher pollution control standards. John himself seems to be a real character with shrewd business sense. He sure gives the union boys fits!
