I would like to tell you but I don't know if I can tell you anything about the track machine, I don't want to lose the right to get to demo the machine's for him. As for the engine's, the 4-wheel drive use's Cummin's engine's and if the genesis engine doesn't meet the requirement's, he'll problably put in a cummin's engine. As far as part's go he has a contract to supply part's to the NH dealer's for all those Blue Genesis tractor's and the red Fiat tractor's, so I don't think part's would be a problem. Kurt

The front axel was changed before he bought the Versitile and 70 series lines. This was part of the 70A change. The whole idea was to compete with JD and the European companies with front mounted duals. The Carro axel is heavy enough for front duals but NH quit offerring them right away since some sizes interferred with the chassis and fuel tank when the axel fully articulated. I assume buhler changed the axel stops to prevent this possibility. The current Genesis engine meets tier 2 but not teir3 with the mechanical Boshe pump. I would think Buhler will change to a Cummins when the contract between NH and him expires for them suppling engines. Its a shame that NH too is cutting back on the number of models that use this engine opting for more Iveco equipted tractors instead.

Time will tell the true story of the Buhler tractors. They are priced really well compared to NH, JD, CASE, etc. Rememember, they are selling a 10 year old tractor. What will resale be like in future. Generally all short line tractor brands have poor resale value. With the newest emmissions regulations, what are they going to use for the big engine instead of the N14IJ Or will the N14 sufficeIJ The QSX may be too big for that frame. Product support and warrantyIJ The Genesis tractors have 3 or 4 computer modules in them, just like everything else. Don't get me wrong fellas, both Buhler lines of tractors are proven quality. I am just so critical because I am simply looking at all angles to this subject. I am more comfortable sticking with the big companies. Just my 2 cents...

Yeah, but those are more related to shifting and radar type stuff are they notIJ My 8320 has 9 computers on it that my dealer knows about. The one that controls the fuel is giving some a time, mine included. I can't see where it has anymore power than the Genesis, and no where near the power of my first oneIJ Then I like things simple. Just as an example, if the fuel guage quits in a Buhler_Genesis, the possibility is there that it could be a faulty CCM(probably $1000)module. Simple things such as the light are computer controlled, 3pt hitch, and fuel guage. They are just like any other tractor in this respect.
