I have an 16 foot head on my R40. I don't know about wheat but if the bean stems are dry I would think a R40 could handle a 20 foot head easily. I have harvested 60 bushel beans in 15 inch rows with no problems. If the stems are green and you are not getting an even feed into the feeder it might be a challenge in 70 bushel beans.

very seldom do i have 70 bpa beans but i have from time to time on the one farm i was just thinking that myself also thanks for the input dairyfarmer
