Just wondered if this is the same unit as the TrimbleIJ We are supposed to be getting a Trimble unit. If You find out put up another post if Ya don,t care. Papaw
yes I believe is exact same unit. It runs off free WAAS signal or you can upgrade to subscription for $$$. System with lightbar and ezzesteer running around $ 8000 CND. How much in USIJIJIJIJ
It is the Same system YOu can program 3 machines to it and i believe 3-4 inches accuracy I can't remember much else cause its been a while since i talked to a case AFS guy I do believe later this year or next they should be getting the accuracy narrowed down I was impressed with the system too
I just bought one they are very easy to install they just did software updates on them . If you buy one defenitly buy the remote for it in the auto steer mode you have to push a any button every fiffteen minuts other wise the auto steer shut off because it doesn't think that you are their. So far I like it very much.
what piece of equipment are you usingIJIJ 4WD tractorIJIJIJ If so is your sat reciever mounted on roof or above front axle. You say it shuts off every 15 min. Need some big fields for that to happen!!!thanks for input!!!
Were any of these units out last yearIJ I have the light bar, so it seems like a pretty reasonable cost to get auto steer. On flat ground, will they acheive better than 6" accuracyIJ Seems to me I've heard of 4" on the right conditions.
Test drove 3 steering units yesterday. The best one was the john deere ,also most expensive.Next best was the accra-track,seem very smooth and not to outrages for price. The worst was the trimble,very jerky but best price . I guess you get what you pay for.
I am using a cat 65 challenger. the antena mount toward the rear of the cab on top (the approx pivot point) I have a couple more days on it just abought done seeding . still waiting for the steering part. I defenitly think that I would not buy just the light bar part I find my self looking more forward than back at what ever I am pulling however at least it nice and straight now.
