Combines CaseIH to lexion

I'm not a custom harvester. The name Cutter has nothing to do with harvesting, but I have worked with and have friends who are custom harvesters. I am from North Central Illinois.

Sorry, I actually farm in Illinois. A couple of my combines have made it to the harvest run in the past.

Honestly, what is there not to like about a lexionIJ land Surfer, I suppose you still have yours, too. If you get a chance, please e-mail me again, sometime. It's sun_dog63[at]yahoo[dot]com.

Okay, sorry for misunderstanding. It was just the way you had talked about this other harvester. I had figured you were one [because of your handle]. Glad to hear you have worked with harvesters and such.

Well, lah... de... da! If I looked closely enough, I can find something on EVERY combine I don't like. Big deal! However, there's always lots of stuff on EACH AND EVERY combine I do really like, and that's good enough to keep me in love with all of them, so there.

NO reason to get all riled up Also ive noticed and been told that the cabs are kinda loud in the cat's But we have a neighbor who has 4-5 of them and they seem to keep them going for the most part and like them If case ever went the other direction and cat actually had some dealer support near by we would go with them... Sure won't go green...:) So i hope cat's are good don't get me wrong always need a backup plan

Nah, not really riled, just making the point that all combines will have their good and bad points. I for one, will just never dwell on any combine's "bad" points as life's just too sort and overall, our combines have way more to offer than not. Personally, I see absolutely NOTHING wrong with the green, other than maybe some of the conceit on behalf of the corporate reps, dealers and even some owners. That still has not changed the actual combines or other machines one iota. After all, one can't be the industry leader while butchering crops all over the country.

If we are not careful, Green combines will be our only choice. We must have competition to keep them honest

I can wholeheartedly agree with that statement, Greenthumb! Now please don't get me wrong, I really do love the John Deere combines; always have and always will! They are as fine as combine as anyone and I must add they did not reach their current status by ruining crops and_or falling apart! Still, I also love diversity, and having only one or even just two brands of combines would make for a very mundane and even dreary world. Each brand has so much to offer, too. I think it's just good that so many people here choose their DIFFERENT combines for different reasons. Sometimes it is just blind brand loyalty, more often than not, it's respective parts, service and other dealer_corporate support. I'm just glad to have the beautiful and high-tech lexions with us, now, right here in North America. They are great combines and are backed by an even greater company!
