Chili! Hot or not

I'm excited because it's getting cooler. That means less work on the farm and more comfort foods. So let's talk chili... I like mine spicy but my wife doesn't. I make the chili but I make it mild and add jalapeños and chili powder to mine. How do you like it?

I love it hot! So hot that I have to drink two glasses of milk with one bowl of chili. I add a lot of chili powder too. My wife adds sour cream and cheese to hers, she claims it cools it down.

I like mild more than that I suffer or should I say my wife suffers.

The hotter the better I always say. I think it's because I'm getting older so my taste buds aren't what they used to be. I use lots of spices and peppers when making chili. It's the perfect fall meal. It sticks to the ribs.

I like it to be spicy, but not hot spicy. I can't taste anything if it's too hot, it just burns.

It's almost time again for chili and I can't wait. My wife is starting to like spice a bit more. This year we are going to try a sweet chili too.
