Class for Growing Your Own Fruits and Veggies

I was thinking about how I could help people in my community eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and I wondered if a low-cost (or even free) class on how to grow their own fruits and veggies at home would be of interest to them. Has anyone run a class like this before? If so, how successful was it?

There is success with this when you're teaching people who don't use a computer. Like if you want to start a community garden close to an old folks home. I would just do it for free in this case.
