local dealer got an official letter today from CNH brass that CNH and creditors have Waltermans in Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings and that a receiver_trustee will be running things so customers will be looked after for remainder of harvest. Anyones guess for reason of the proceedings, CNH capital could be the other creditorIJ

I have not heard anyone say they had a machine with a serialn that matches the contract to pay no matter what. I sure hope they do. gs

I've rolled combines for four years with them and every combine that showed up at my place matched the serialn that was on the contract the fall before. The machines where gone over very well before I got them and any service was top notch. I think most that talk them down are just jealous they weren't in the program.

I bet all the dealers that these people drove bye to get to the dikes are laughing about now.I think it is kind of funny I think it was a not quite a year ago when there was quit a bit of talk on here how good of deals and service dikes had. I guess there was a reason if you dont pay your bills and file all the rest of us gets stuck paying in the end,

This thing is anything but funny. I asked the question above about serialn's and dab answered it. I did not know that a contract was signed every year. If this roll thing was so simple and great, why has this dealer filed for ch. 7IJ And also, if the roll program died with this dealership, do the customers now simply pay off the last machine they were deliveredIJ I am not jealous of anyone who takes a chance and comes out on top, this is what has made free enterprise the best system going. I just believe that if it were such a good deal every dealer of all colors would be doing it, I remember when most did. gs
