Guilty is not the word for it. More like a dam crook that will be spending time in the big house. Wify new it was coming down so she wanted out to try not to be implicated also.

Alot of guys sold their combine outright or traded it for another piece of equipment when getting on the roll program. With the roll program you used the 10 month interest free financing from Case Credit so you only paid 2 months of interest every year and then the yearly fee included the cost of upgrading to the newer machine. We started out with a '99 machine and now have a '02 model with the same amount of money borrowed against it and have gained about $30,000 in that time due to the higher value of the newer machine. It's not a real good way to build equity but if building equity what you are trying to do owning a late model combine is a poor way to do it regardless of how you purchase it. I would be there are a bunch of guys on this roll program who have new 2388s and only owe what it cost them to buy a 1680 or 1688 15 years ago.

Bob, I know what you are saying, but I can testify that both Allis-Chalmers and AGCO have slashed at least 2 largest-volume combine dealers in their respective states. Yes, I mean the parent company cancelled the contract, regardless of how big they were! I can see it happening to CNH, also. Maybe such is to strengthen other smaller dealers, but I really doubt it. As I read on, here, I see CNH is restoring the business as usual--without leon Walterman, though.

We rolled for years with Gleaner, It got to eexpensive and to many little breakdowns that allowed big time loss so we went to caseih 2388 with new afx rotor 3yrs ago. agco dealerjust got rid of our last trade last year. Am very happy with deal and in yearly roll and very few breakdowns and greater capacity done 3200 acres corn beans wheat in 400 engine hours
