Must have been a mighty steep hill if it had duals and still flipped over. A few years ago, I read about an incident where the front wheel come off of a 6600 Deere (lugs had gotten loose) while he was making a turn and it rolled over and crushed the cab killing the guy. Ever since them I put a wrench on mine every so often and give em a tug just to make sure they are tight.

I always wonder what would happen if the hydralic hoses blew out on one of those side hill machines. Some of the hills they run those on out West are really steep.

Your telling me. This fall I was taking our combine down the road, couldn't tell what was going on because I was all over the road, had to slow way down. I got to the field and dad came running up and told me to kill the engine. One rear wheel only had two lug nuts holding it on. It was scary considering the road I was going down with it, steep ditches on each side, if it would have fallen off I don't know what I would have down. I guess yank back on the lever and pray. We had just checked the lugs before we started the season too, tight as could be. I took a socket to all the lug nuts on that machine every four days after that.
