Combines cr suggestions

I heard about the cooling problems of the V8 in america but here in my country we had summers with +40C and the deutz haven't any problems here. Maybe the design (the gleaners have the engine closed into the body) of the combine is not the best for these engines. If you ever saw a Deutz Fahr combine you could notice the engine is not closed. Some Fahr combines like the M1620 with the 413 V8 engine have more than 14000 hours now without problems.

We ran a 1990 R70 for three seasons and never had any heating problems, just had to blow the thing out on a daily basis. Our early season harvest temperatures can be well over 30 degrees

We found that there was very little difference in service times between blowing out the cooling fins on the air cooled to the radiator on the liquid cooled motors. Over here we often harvest in 40C (100F+)temps during summer and both needed to blown out well each day.The only thing was that the engine bay in the duetz motor wasn't as clean at the end of the day

Sebas, do you have many V8 Deutz running in SpainIJ The aircooled inline six (912,913) are still famous in Germany for being a reliable and very fuel efficient irrigation motor.

Well, i haven't any V8, i have a 912 and a 913. Old combines use the V8 and a tractor too (16006). My father worked for a man that had a 16006. It work about 10000 hours but i think had a problem in a cilinder. I know 3 combines near my town with the V8 engines. That 1620 I said before and two Topliners (imported from germany). There are few V8 only for the reason that Deutz-Fahr doesn't import the biggest combines to spain (4080 - 4090). These two models are the only that uses the V8's, a model 513. Only early 4075 uses the old V8 413.

You mean you have a 16006 somewhere in SpainIJ! Have you seen itIJ Which hood does it have, the square one or the sloped oneIJ A friend from Germany told me, there where only 27 made. His boss has one. I've seen it in the yard but never at work. We were planing on restoring it, but than I moved to the US.

I saw it when i was a child. The man my father worked had 2 16006. I think only 6 were imported to spain. You can see pictures of that tractor in Farmphoto and in Yesterday's tractor forum, just search for "sebas" pictures. I never see this tractor working but sure he was beast. He was always used with scrappers, he usually pull two scrapers at one time, 8 m3 + 5 m3. Sometimes was used with discs. I can send you the pics of the tractor if you want.
