Combines cracking soybeans

What percent of cracks are you seeingIJ Are you cutting these beans for seed or just going to be selling to a crusherIJ Here in NW KS the elevators allow 20% splits without any dockage. Even in this bad years it has always been easy to stay under 20%. Kurt

Neighbor had a semi load at 26%, I think he said it was a $.10 dock. I put mine in the bin, dont know % of cracks. I not happy with the results, but they are in the bin so thats that.

have you tried combing in morning, afternoon, and towards dusk, sometimes I find time of day can make a difference

found the problem. it is the beans. have saw 3 other combines doing the same thing. not enough to get docked but enough to complain about. thanks for your input.
