Cucumbers and vinegar

Yum! One of my favorite memories of my grandparents was they always had a bowl of slices cucumbers and white vinegar (with pepper) on the table. I still love it to this day. Anyone else?

Oh yes, we enjoy these too. I love fresh cukes right from the garden. I have a friend that adds mayo and vinegar to her cukes. She calls them sloppy cucumbers. Has anyone tried those?

Cucumbers with vinegar and pepper are also a favorite snack of mine. You can eat a lot of it without feeling guilty since it is mostly water. There were even times when my lips would turn white from sipping too much vinegar!

Vinegar is suitable for cucumbers, but I'd choose to have mine with ketchup and mayo. What I like about eating cucumbers is their neutral-like flavor that you can mix with different kinds of dips.

I've seen sloppy cucumbers and they don't look very appealing to me (not a big fan of mayo). I swear we have been eating cukes for a month now! Delicious! I'm going to make pickles this weekend.
