Cut of steak

What is your favorite cut of steak and why? We usually buy NY Strip steaks. They grill up wonderful and have a great flavor. We also buy them a butcher, not the store.

Prime rib medium rare from bbq grill purchase from well know butcher in our area.

Actually, I tend to like the sirloin and the T-bone ... medium

We like Ribeye and Porterhouse steaks. We do buy the Strip from time to time. Nothing beats a great steak, right off the grill. I load mine up with mushrooms and onions.

I like mine with some salt and black pepper - not really a sauce guy when it comes to steak

We do butcher our own too, but we eat a lot of steak. Do you have a local butcher that you can buy from that only is grass fed?

As far as I know, there is no local butcher selling grass fed beef

I've never seen a butcher in my area that sells grass fed beef. I've never really looked into it though. Our butcher is about 80 years old. He is the best in town.
