Dangerous, but lucrative?

Would you ever consider raising some exotic creatures that were dangerous, but also highly lucrative? My son has his eye on the cassowary bird. Their beautiful eggs can go for thousands of dollars and their baby chicks are worth even more. The bird is also deadly. Would you consider taking the risk for a handsome profit when it comes to exotic animals?

It seems these birds are dangerous and hard to keep in captivity. This is from Wikipedia...

The cassowary has solitary habits and breeds less frequently in zoos than other ratites such as ostrich and emu. Unlike other ratites, it lives exclusively in tropical rainforest, and reproducing this habitat carefully is essential. Unlike the emu, which will live with other sympatric species, such as kangaroos, in "mixed Australian fauna" displays, the cassowary does not cohabit well among its own kind. Individual specimens must even be kept in separate enclosures, due to their solitary and aggressive nature. Territoriality is one of their most important characteristics.

It doesn't sound like it would be easy to keep them in captivity. How would you even breed them?

I mean, they don't call them "murder birds" for nothing. Personally, I feel that no amount of money is worth risking my life for. I wouldn't raise wild cats, monkeys, or anything of the sort. I'll bring up the breeding issue with him though. That's a good one.

Not if it means carrying around a shock stick and a stun gun in order to protect myself. How depressing for both man and beast.
