Do you do your own books?

I'm an accountant (part time) and I work on our farm. I do the books, file taxes, pay our workers, etc.. I'm thankful for my Finance degree. Do you do your own or have you hired a professional?

No, I could never manage it on my own. We have some investment properties to account for and I'm too fearful of handling an audit without a pro at the wheel to back up their work. Good on you for managing it yourself! I would take a lot of pride in that, @Charli1

We do our own books (day to day doings). We have an accountant that we give all of our receipts and everything to at the end of the year. No way am I doing our farm taxes. Our personal ones are one thing, but the business ones - no thanks.
