Electric vehicles?

With the cost of gas on the rise are any of you thinking of buying an electric vehicle? I would love to buy a Tesla but I think they are a bit too expensive. What are your thoughts on this? Anyone already own an electric vehicle?

I would love to own an electric vehicle but I doubt I'll ever buy one (unless the prices come down). I won't give up my gas fueled vehicles though. I'd like a car that drives itself!

I would also love a vehicle that drives itself. You type in destination and take a nap. I'm not sure we will see that in my lifetime. I did hear that Tesla was making a cheaper version of their first car.

I don't have an electric vehicle yet, but it's something I'm interested in purchasing eventually. I'm waiting for prices to come down and for the charges to last longer before I invest in one. Also, a self-driving car would be delightful!

It doesn't have to be a Tesla. There are cheaper models out there that get good reviews like the Chevy Bolt and the Nissan Leaf.
