JP, Just for kicks and giggles remove the seive and open the square ended (buttless) cobb_ capacity chaffer to 3_4 inch.Make a run then back chaffer down in 1_16th inch increments to suit.Roll the hydro foward and crack this girl in the butt.Good luck! Hyper

PS: JP, If this works reinstall the seive and set it about 1_2 inch open. These new hybrids have huge kernels at high moisture. later Hyper

My bet it is your belt slipping behind variable speed pulley. We have had that sheive wear out. Either that or you have to much tailings.

i think we may have found the problem. you guys mentioned belt slipping,i think that is it.i am going along at a steady speed in 175bu. corn and then my yield monitor falls immediatly to 110 the same time my pacer slams back to slower,then i slow to a crawl and it takes forever to catch up. i will replace the 3 ribbed drive belt and theclean grain belt and the fan belt in the morning. THANKS to everyone with help and advice. i will let you know if this cures it,or if i have any other trouble.

Check the pulley on the clean grain elevator,just remembered the neighbor having that problem.
