Father fell

My dad fell a few days ago (slipped on ice). He fractured his hip! We are waiting on an appointment from a specialist now. I'm pretty sure he will need surgery. We are fixing a room up for him at our farmhouse. He's fighting leaving his house. I really don't know what else to do because we can't really leave the farm.

Oh, I'm so sorry! Does he have livestock or pets too? Maybe a neighbor could keep an eye on things. Gosh, I'm sorry that happened to him. He's probably worried and hurting a bit. I hope it works out for you guys! I'll be thinking about him.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It stinks when our parents get older and fall. I'm glad that you have the room for him. It makes sense if you can't leave the farm, he comes there. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. It sure sucks when anyone falls and gets hurt, especially our parents. I really hope that he recovers quick and that his pain level is tolerable.
